  • The MSc Procurement and Logistics programme is designed to prepare candidates for the challenges and opportunities presented by Industry 4.0 and beyond. The swift advancements in technology, automation, and interconnectivity are reshaping the procurement and logistics sector. This programme empowers graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the evolving industry, utilize technology for competitive advantage, and drive innovation and sustainability in procurement and logistics practices.

    Goals (Aims)

    The aim of the Master of Science in Procurement and Logistics is to endow graduates with advanced strategic, analytical, and management capabilities, preparing them for leadership roles in planning, regulation, and operations of procurement and logistics within local, national, and global contexts. This programme aspires to disseminate suitable administrative competencies to managers worldwide in the procurement and logistics sector. The aim is to cultivate the students' intellectual capacity by providing a solid foundation in procurement and logistics. Further, this programme is intended to foster improved business practices by presenting a balanced mix of business knowledge and professionalism.

  • MSc Procurement and Logistics is a 12-month full-time programme structured over two semesters.

    • A good first degree with at least a Second Class Lower Division in a related field from an accredited institution.
    • In exceptional cases, applicants with a Third Class Division who are already employed in programme-related fields and demonstrate the capacity to cope with the programme may be considered for admission.

    Programme Duration: 12 Months (1 Year)

  • Objectives

    The programme is intended to develop students' knowledge of best practices in procurement and logistics management and further enhance their understanding of procurement and logistics operations through a range of concepts, theories, and modules. Specifically, the course will provide students with the necessary skills to:

    • Equip students with advanced knowledge and understanding of procurement and logistics processes, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and inventory management.
    • Enable students to demonstrate the application of theories and concepts in procurement and logistics management to solve complex business problems.
    • Develop students' skills to analyze and evaluate logistics performance and procurement strategies using qualitative and quantitative tools.
    • Foster students' ability to create innovative procurement and logistics solutions to enhance operational efficiency and supply chain resilience.
    • Prepare students to assume managerial roles in planning, regulation, and operations of procurement and logistics in regional, national, and international contexts.

  • Fees

    Total Fees: GH₵ 9,500

    Payment Schedule

    1. 60% of fees shall be paid within 2 weeks from the beginning of the first Semester.
    2. The remaining 40% shall be paid within 2 weeks from the reopening date of the 2nd Semester.
    3. Alternatively, students can pay 100% of fees in the 1st semester.

    Financial Aid

    Admission is strictly based on merit, completely detached from the students' financial capacity to cover associated tuition fees. Once admitted, there exist various schemes to offer financial aid, contingent upon both need and academic prowess.

    Merit- and need-based scholarships available. Each scholarship or aid package is re-evaluated annually, taking into account academic performance, financial necessity, resource availability, and current University guidelines.
